At Jerry Clay Academy we know that feedback is one of the most powerful influences on learning and achievement. We apply this philosophy not only in our daily teaching and learning but also in our relationships with parents and other stakeholders. We are constantly seeking parent feedback in order to help us know what we are doing well and where we can make improvements.
Each term we hold a parent forum where we discuss key themes that parents have identified as areas that would benefit from a focus in our school.
The forums are advertised in our school newsletter, on our website and via our text messaging service. We generally hold the meetings in the evening and we will provide a crèche for those parents needing childcare. Parents are welcome to attend any parent forum and if you cannot make the forum we will add the minutes to this section of the website for you read and comment on.
If you would like to suggest future themes for the forum or if you miss a forum and would like to add your suggestions then please contact us.
Gathering parents views in so important to us and we do this in a number of ways; through workshop/ performance feedback slips, questionnaires, verbal questionning and meeting parents daily on the gate into school.
Please find below our most recent feedback results from our July 2015 questionnaire.
