Welcome to Year 2! This year marks the final stage of your Key Stage 1 journey and is a wonderful opportunity to build on everything you have learned so far. As the year progresses, you will continue to develop your reading, writing and maths skills, becoming more confident, independent and ready to meet the End of Key Stage 1 expectations.
Across the year, we will discover the fascinating history of 'Magnificent Miners', learn about the continent of Africa through our enquiry of ‘Do We Always Appreciate What We’ve Got?’, and investigate ‘How Does Adverse Weather Cause Change?’ as we learn about the Great Fire of London and its lasting impact.
Every day will bring new experiences as we learn together, ask questions, persevere when things are tricky and take pride in all that we achieve.
